Ho there, Sports Fans!
Wow.
What an incredible opening night!
The Croc Blockers are Funded!
And not only that, but we've absolute smashed the first 4 stretch goals, all in just over 12 hours! A huge thank you to everyone who has backed the campaign so far, I am amazed by your support, and I hope that you love the figures when they come through your post box in a few months time!
So, let's see what's now available...
*enthusiastic lizard noises*
Because we funded the campaign, everyone who backed Level 3 and above get a free ball counter to use in their games!
As we stormed past £2500, we unlocked the Croc Blocker's second Star Player, Jurassic Tarq! This massive Coldblood will wreak havoc on the pitch, at least he will once I've finished sculpting him!
What is a team without a coach (other than you, of course), so at £3500 we unlocked the mind behind the Croc Blockers' success, Coach Kremit! The fat blighter won't be doing any exercising himself though, so he'll leave that to the next stretch goal that was hit...
So one of the main things I got from the feedback on the pre-KS teaser posts is that you guys can't get enough of the Smoothskins! As such, I've not only decided to work on an add-on pack for your team, but also to give you guys an opportunity to design one of the players!
Draw out your design, or write out a description, and send it to me either on my Facebook page, www.facebook.com/warploqueminiatures , or to my Instagram page @warploque.miniatures - the winner will not only win a set of the Smoothskns, but they will have their idea made as one of the sculpts!
So, what's next?
If we hit £5k, which isn't that far away, a new Star Player will be unlocked! And one that hints at a future campaign... Slippery Wen'Whet, a Frogman player from the Splashmouth All-Stars!
Resin Teams News
Due to amazing demand, all of the available resin teams have sold out! Do not worry though, I'm currently in talks with our resin cast, Rob Huntley, and at some point over the next few days I will be able to offer some more resin teams. I'll let everyone know 24 hours before they go up, so you have lots of time to be pressing f5 when they go live!
